Take a closer look

around at the many events I have had the pleasure of organizing, booking, planning, and volunteering for!

THE SOUNDUP CLUB

I was in charge of coordinating, organizing, and managing the monthly rounds, such as running the VIP meet and greet, set up and tear down, and being the middle communication between the venue and our artists.

This position required high adaptability, attention, and delicate pre-planning. I thrive in this environment and love that no day is the same! I get to work with and meet new people every time that love this industry just as much as me.

My time at the Walmart AMP consisted of venue management, event coordination, front of house operations, marketing, and booking. I helped run operations and duties revolving around the main stage and the AMP Underground (private pre-show experience) as well.

We sourced out local artists and booked them for the AMP Underground experience, where ticket holders could come in early, grab a drink, snack, and mingle, and we were in charge of set up, managing the event, and tearing down.

IEBA

As an event volunteer for IEBA, I was in charge of various tasks, such as check in and out, set up and tear down, event management, and event coordination, to make sure the conference ran as smooth as possible.

It was very rewarding to meet so many amazing people I look up to in this industry and to get to provide a fun and safe environment to promote new connections, make new deals, and allow for collaborative spaces, all by preparing and executing the perfect conference for our attendees!

Pete’s Student POSSE

I organized and coordinated giveaway contests and events, planned perfect game attendance incentives, and coach/player meet and greets, all to spread awareness, interest, and more student engagement!

As the Marketing and Events Chair for P.S.P, I not only helped market the various sporting events on campus, but I also was in charge of curating and setting up the events on campus that raised students’ awareness about the various athletic games coming up.

Spears Ambassadors

Serving as a Spears Ambassador all throughout my college career, was very rewarding and we learned so much about how to run an event surrounding the recruitment of prospective students.

We were in charge of organizing and coordinating the recruitment and orientation events for the students and their families, as well as setting up and tearing down our booth at events.

BOK Center

I had the great opportunity to help organize, run, and assist with load in and loud out for a couple of BOK Center’s summer season - 2 of the Tulsa Oilers indoor football games and The Chicks concert!

I learned what staying on top of an event, planning ahead, and what to be ready for entailed within events, and that any crazy problem can arise or be thrown at you, and you must be prepared. This was my first introduction into the live event world, and I knew this was my passion right away.
